Defacing Awami League and BNP: Are these credible, "free and fair"?

SCOPE: In coming days our nonplussed "Razzak/Amu/ Mannan/Saifur"
leadership gangs shall be suing wicked and scary Halloween wizards
Hasina and Khaleda at the Court for holding them under guns for
long15/20 years and coercing them to engage in committing
unintentional massive corruptions, extortions… etc,! At these
moment,
these free at last "born again patriots" have been busy on preempting
ground works of "in door" party Reforms, a tacit but popular "civic
duty" to propitiate 140 million credulous people of Bangladesh. It is
not clear whether these capricious old uncles are actually maneuvering
any personal damage control mission, generating political excitements
to taste their political back waters or attempting intelligently
exonerating themselves from past criminal charges! Keeping aside our
superior and imaginary speculations on CTG; did this Care Taker
Government ever officially demand or ask for any reforms (except
talking about it) from these dogmatic king(pins) or they are just
voluntarily complying with advices from our "friendly donor
Governments" to boost their own professional prospects? What is their
exact mission and what could they really accomplish against nation's
cultures of corruptions and failed Governments with these prosaic
reforms, apparently disposing the Queens of the Rings Hasina and
Khaleda? How clean exactly these overweening birds of the same
feathers themselves are? How could they even imagine of surviving at
all after stepping over their own (now) step-mother the Hasina and the
Khaleda? In case an expected and sustainable unity after this quick
fixing reform collapses; do they really care of how could it possibly
enervate our spirits of freedom and engender devastating effects to
our national security?
COMMON STANDARDS: Neither any Care taker Government nor the political
Parties combined can lawfully make any official and final decision on
the tenure and term of the Prime Minister/Cabinets/President. It needs
Constitutional Amendments and only a sitting Parliament under
exceptional situation can lawfully initiate such "bills" for
processing toward these amendments. Also, if admissible by the
Constitution, the other alternative is a "referendum" in ballots
during the so-called credible "free and fair" national election where
the entire nation could speak out their minds before those becoming
the highest law of the land, thus bypassing all the legislative
actions. It is as simple as that!
The same procedures apply to any/all major changes (Buzzword, "Reform
or Deform"!) within the political parties according to the their
constitution, with the opinions of central and grass root level party
institutions. It usually starts from the respective presidium body of
the party who shall designate and assign a chosen committee to
initiate REFORM proposals and then …. the process continues. These
can
not be initiated, designed or written by few powerful leaderships and
then promptly shipped to the market for acceptance or comments.
ABBERATIONS: If not always, there are instances that democracy often
born or comes out through the barrels of the guns. As the Government
or ruling junta of any nation becomes tyrant, does not promote the
wishes of its citizens for years and tops beyond the worst Oligarchy;
God's visitation of angers just fall upon them. If we look around, we
shall see these examples in our modern as well as old civilization.
This ephemeral Care taker Government is as if a visitation of God's
anger upon AL/BNP/JP causing their unexpected crush landings and
luckily, have become as the blessings to the 140 million people of
Bangladesh. This could be simply nation's another democratic birth
contraction or growing pain and obviously shall exit after December
2008. For those desiring "more freedom" from this Care taker
government controls, it is critical to understand that CTG is here
only to fit "current situation and need", stopping escalating
violence, fighting corruptions those were knowingly absorbed or
palliated in the past. Indeed, we have the present governmental limits
on personal liberty because this is required for this unique nature of
the system and exceptional situation. As long as our expectations from
this Care Taker Government are realistic, if we are not prejudice on
its future actions and do not quarrel with its success; this CTG,
though not perfect, (my favorite AL is not perfect neither anyone)
shall end up working wonderfully until its last leg. Having said that
it is the nation's 140 million people who shall ultimately decide the
fate of this nation, govern this nation and many of us firmly believe
that this Care Taker Government has its honest plan toward that
direction well with all its possible success.
IDEA OF SOLUTION: Moments of truth are now knocking at the doors of
both Hasina and Khaleda to realize that they can not be exonerated,
must recognize and accept the responsibility for their past mistakes;
apologize to the nation with renewed and firm commitment of serving
this nation with good faith and public trust, through accountability
and transparency including their precise future plan of actions
against corruptions, bribery, grafts …… at all levels in the
Government. They must indiscriminately dispose all the "bad apples"
and shall include veritable faces who shall care so much about higher
purposes, higher principles and higher goals those they are willing to
make; the most important sacrifices for the sake of what they are
aspiring to accomplish for this nation. AL/BNP politicians must stop
their enormity and stop the practice of settling their political
differences in the streets, and need to choose the Parliament instead.
The entire nation has passed through unimaginable limits of violence
for last several years and now is the time to pass equally through
unimaginable limits of nonviolence. We should not forget that
community interests, rights and freedom are more important than
individual freedom
WARNING: The true prospects and future of these scurvy REFORMs are yet
to be seen but the good news is; this Care Taker Government (Army
backed) has given out an excellent opportunity to the politicians to
recognize and to know each other closely within their own parties and
a unique opportunity to the entire nation to get "exact pictures" of
our mercurial politicians. However, the real fear and bad news is that
their unruly and hostile practices in resolving, sometimes truculent
feuds among "own brothers" could cause these splenetic patriots
running away from the beauty contest podium with bloody noses until
deposed Hasina and Khaleda step in, give them blessings of love, new
lives and shelter again!
